This beach is located 8kms awaya from the city of Mapusa. This was a trading port for the Arabs during the 12th century and was known as Anjuman which means chamber of commerce.This beach was a famous handout of the hippies.It was from here the famous ''flea' market at Anjuna began.

It is one of the best places for buying souveniers.Water sports like parasailing and windsurfing are offered at this beach.There are a lot of places in and around Anjuna that offer good seafood and continental cuisine.

DONA PAULA BEACH
Situated 9kms west of Panjim,it is nestled on the south side of the rocky hammer shaped headland that divides the Zuari and Mandovi estuaries.This former fishing village is now a commercial resort.

This beach is the best place to have a feel of the true Goan life.Not just for its scenic beauty, it is also popular for its various water sports activities.

This beach is long and lovely fringed with palms and casurinas and dominated by a large hill to the south.However it is not safe to swim very far.

This beach in North Goa is very popular with the foreign tourists.Along the Goa border is Arambol with its fresh water lagoon.Beyond an idyllic rocky bottomed cove,the trail emerges to a broad strip of soft white sand hemmed on both sides by steep cliffs.

Arambol is one such centre of attraction where one can see a mini India where people are looking for comfort and pleasure during the tourist season which starts in October with pleasant weather.
