3. Eravikulum Wildlife Sanctuary - There is a motorable road upto Rajamally.Further travel is on foot,which makes for some great trekking.
4. Idukki Wildlife Sanctuary - The lake on three sides offer a panoromic view to the tourists.
5. Neyyar wildlife Sanctuary - A crocodile rearing centre,deer farm and lion safari park are the main attraction.
6. Parambikulam Wildlife Sanctuary - It has the largest population of bison,spotted deer,jungle cat,sloth bear etc.There are forest rest houses that can be arranged.
7. Peechi Vazhani Wildlife Sanctuary - It lies in the catchment areas in Trichur district.
8. Peepara Wildlife Sanctuary - This sanctuary with its rich fauna and birds is emerging as a big attaction to wildlife enthusiasts.
9. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary,Thekkady - This sanctuary offers a lovely and comfortable way to see the animals via boat ride on man-made lake, which the wildlife area encircle.
10. Silent Valley National Park - It is one of the unexplored evergreen rain forests.
11. Thattakad Bird Sanctuary - The most notable of the indegenious birds are Malabar grey hornbill,Grey jungle fowl and other rare birds.

DAY 03 : KANYAKUMARI
Kanyakumari is the southern tip of India where the three oceans unite together.Visit Vivekananda Rock and temple.Evening drive back to Kovalam.Overnight at hotel.

DAY 04 : KOLLAM
Moning drive to Kollam,the gateway to the Kerala backwaters.

DAY 05 : HOUSEBOAT
Morning drive to Alleppey. Embark for the houseboat cruise. You will travel through the enchanting villages and lush paddy fields.Sleep over at houseboat.

DAY 06 : PERIYAR
Go for boat cruise in the lake to watch wild animals. Afternoon visit to spice plantations. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 07 : COCHIN
Leave for Cochin. Sightseeing at Cochin. Overnight at a hotel in Cochin. After breakfast leave for the airport for the onward journey.
